Clapper valve
The clapper valve, also known as the check valve, refers to a valve whose opening and closing member is a circular valve flap and acts by its own weight and medium pressure to block the backflow of the medium.Common check valve models are: 1 2 water check valve, 1 1 8 check valve, 4 check valve.
The function of this type of valve is to allow the medium to flow in only one direction and prevent flow in the opposite direction. Usually this kind of valve works automatically. Under the action of fluid pressure flowing in one direction, the valve flap opens; when the fluid flows in the opposite direction, the fluid pressure and the self-coincident valve flap of the valve flap act on the valve seat, thereby cutting off the flow. The flap valve is divided into three types: single flap type, double flap type and multi flap type. Common flap valves are: CV Series Check Valve, KA Series Check Valve.
The flap valve is suitable for submersible, drainage and sewage pumps, especially for sewage and sludge systems.
