Clevis Mount is a two-piece fastener system consisting of a clevis and a clevis pin head.
A clevis is a U-shaped piece with a hole at the end of the prong that will accommodate a clevis pin. A clevis pin is similar to a bolt, but is partially threaded or unthreaded, with a cross hole for a cotter pin.
A tang is a part that is sometimes installed in the space inside a clevis and held in place by a clevis pin. The combination of a simple clevis with a pin is often referred to as a shackle, although a clevis and pin are only one of many forms a shackle may take. Common clevis mount brackets are: CB Rear Female Clevis Mount (ISO6431), LB Foot Mount Bracket (ISO6431), CA Rear Male Clevis Mount.
The functions of clevis mounting bracket generally have these:
◆ The function of the valve seat is to seal the cylinder by the close fit of its inner cone surface and the cone surface of the valve head, and to receive the heat from the valve;
◆ The valve seat can be directly bored on the cylinder head, the temperature of the valve seat is very high, and it is subjected to extremely high frequency shock loads, resulting in serious wear;
◆ Seal valves and withstand high-speed shocks
