Pressure Regulator

A pressure regulator is a valve that uses negative feedback from a controlled pressure to control the pressure of a fluid or gas to a desired value. Air Filter Regulator is a type of valve with a pressure setting, restrictor, and sensor that acts on both gases and liquids. It can also consist of a separate pressure sensor, controller and flow valve.

Pressure regulators can be divided into two types: pressure reducing regulators and back pressure regulators. A pressure reducing regulator is a control valve that reduces the input pressure of a fluid or gas to the value required for its output.
