Proportional solenoid valves generally adjust the opening of the control valve through an external voltage signal, and are often used to adjust the flow of fluid through the valve.
The movement of the spool of the proportional air valve is controlled by a proportional solenoid, so that the output pressure or flow is proportional to the input current. Therefore, the pressure and flow can be continuously controlled by changing the input electrical signal.
Some valves also have the function of controlling the size and direction of flow. According to the function, the proportional valve can also be divided into three categories: air pressure valve, flow valve and reversing valve.
Proportional control valves can be used not only in pneumatic systems, but also in oil pressure systems and water pressure systems. For example, small electromagnetic reversing valves with low power and no oil supply. The exhausted gas will not pollute the environment and can be used in food, medicine, electronics and other industries. Common electronically controlled proportional valves are: 5404 Series High Pressure, High Temperature Solenoid Valve, PU225 Series Solenoid Valve.
