KZE-B Series thread locked type hydraulic quick coupling

KZE-B Series thread locked type hydraulic quick coupling

Features

KZE-B Series couplings feature:

Machined from solid steel barstock for durability.

The series employs a threaded sleeve locking mechanism. mates with matching male threads on the nipple. The twohalves must be manually threaded together for connection.

Hard, chrome alloy balls are used for valving, lt be loadedon the valve seat by the springs.

The valve provides a metal-to-metal seal between the balland coined seat.

The interface seal is polyurethane which resists high pressureextrusion.

Athreaded valve retainer provides a valve stop that assurespositive valve alignment.

Compatible with PARKER 3000 Series,FASTER PVVM Series.

Hydraulic quick coupler thread types

Hydraulic quick coupler threads are used to connect and disconnect hydraulic hoses or pipes quickly and securely in hydraulic systems.

These threads vary based on the type of quick coupler and the specific application requirements.

The most common types of hydraulic quick coupler threads include:

 NPT (National Pipe Tapered Thread):

A popular type of thread used in hydraulic quick couplers in North America. NPT threads are tapered, meaning they are designed to create a seal as they are tightened, providing a leak-proof connection.

 BSPP (British Standard Parallel Pipe):

Often used in Europe, BSPP threads are parallel and require sealing washers or O-rings to ensure a leak-proof connection.

 BSPT (British Standard Tapered Pipe):

Similar to NPT but used in regions with BSP standards, BSPT threads are tapered and also create a seal as they are tightened.

 JIC (Joint Industrial Council):

JIC threads, also known as SAE J514, are often used in high-pressure hydraulic systems. They are flare-type fittings with a 37-degree angle, designed for use with a sealing surface.

 ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal):

These threads are designed with an O-ring at the face of the fitting, providing a leak-proof seal without the need for additional sealing components.

 Metric Threads (ISO 6149):

Used in many international applications, particularly in Europe, metric threads are often used in combination with O-rings for sealing.

 Code 61 and Code 62:

These are flanged connections commonly used in larger hydraulic systems. They are designed to be leak-proof and provide high flow rates.
